How To Make Sushi Roll: Chicken Teriyaki Roll
The ingredients for chicken teriyaki roll are: 1 skinless chicken breast, 2 slices cucumber, 1/4 cup and 2 tablespoons teriyaki sauce, 1/3 avocado, sprinkle of roasted sesame seeds.
Cook The Chicken
Cut the chicken breast into strips, then place them in frypan with some canola oil (tablespoon). Add salt and pepper as you like.
Cook one side of chicken strips, then turn, add 1/4 cup teriyaki sauce to the strips in the frypan, continue cooking on medium till done.
If you cook the
strips prior to making your sushi roll, put the strips and sauce from frying together into a tubberware container till your ready to make your roll.
When cooked, remove from pan and cut into smaller strips for the sushi roll.

To make this roll add a half sheet of nora to your bamboo mat, add the rice, flip over the nora so the rice is facing the bamboo mat, then add the slices of chicken teriyaki, and
cucumber, add about teaspoon teriyaki sauce on the ingredients.

Using the bamboo mat, roll your nora with the ingredients.

Cutting the Sushi Roll
Now you can cut the roll, but first add some saran wrap over the roll, this will help keep the roll intact while cutting it, and your hands won't stick to the rice.
If you don't have saran wrap handy, dip your fingers in water before cutting the roll. This will prevent them sticking to the rice as you cut the pieces.

Once the saran wrap is over the roll use the bamboo mat to firm the roll and wrap togther. Then remove the bamboo mat, make sure the saran wrap is still on the roll.

Next, cut the roll using a chef or santoku knife. The knife will stick to the rice when cutting the roll, so first add water to the knife, and keep a watered towel handy,
or paper towel drizzled with water.
You can cut the roll in half then half again, then remove the end small pieces, you will probably have 6 or 7 pieces for your roll. Or you can cut in half then cut individually to
the size you like; keep them small enough to be eaten in one bite.
Add the Avocado Topping
Now, the avocado must be added to the roll.

Use a ripen avocado, it will flatten better to the roll.
Use saran wrap to cover the sliced avocado on the roll
Use the bamboo mat to flatten the avocado to the roll.
After flattening with the bamboo mat, remove the saran wrap slowly so the avocado stays in place.
Garnish The Sushi Roll
Sprinkle some roasted sesame seeds on top of the avocado, then add some teriyaki sauce over the avocado and roasted sesame seeds.
