How To Make Sushi, Green Dragon Roll
The ingredients for the green dragon roll are: imitation crab, cucumber, shrimp tempura, and topped with avocado, roasted sesame seeds. Add some teriyaki sauce and Japanese mayo
for garnish.
This roll is made with the rice on the outside - uramaki roll.
To make this roll add a half sheet of nora to your bamboo mat.
Adding the Rice
You have to measure out the amount of rice, About 3/4 cup is enough for a half sheet of nora.

Once you've added the rice, flip over the nora so the rice is facing the bamboo mat.

You will need three shrimp tempura. Place one at each end of the nora sheet, then cut the third shrimp tempura, and put a piece between the other two on the nora.

Put them on the nora as shown, so that when the nora is rolled the tails of the shrimp will be visible.
Add the cucumber slice and the imitation crab slices to the nora.

You can cut the roll into as many pieces as you like, most common is 6-9 pieces. You want to keep the pieces small enough that they can be eaten with ones hands in one bite usually.
Firming the Sushi Roll
You want your sushi roll to look nice and neat with each piece looking as even as the next. To do this we can firm the roll using the bamboo mat.
Using a piece of saran wrap and your bamboo mat, put the saran over the roll then the bamboo over the saran wrap, and with your hands flatten it firmly to the roll. Then remove the saran wrap slowly.

Adding the Avocado
Use a ripen avocado, it will flatten better to the roll.
Use saran wrap to cover the sliced avocado on the roll
Use the bamboo mat to flatten the avocado to the roll.
After flattening with the bamboo mat, remove the saran wrap slowly so the avocado stays in place.

The two end pieces of the sushi roll have the tails of the shrimp.
Dragon's Head
The sushi roll piece at the dragon's head will stand upright, while the other tail will stay as is to appear as the dragon's tail.
To add the dragon's head, you will need the end piece from a cuke. Slice it as shown in this photo.

Then as shown, cut a slither from the side of cuke so that one side of the cuke is flat.

Then cut two slits for the dragon's eyes, and add either carrot or sweet orange pepper for the slits.

Now, put the dragon head next to the sushi end piece that has the shrimp tail upright, keeping the avocado intact on the sushi piece.
Garnish Your Green Dragon Roll
Add the roasted sesame seeds to the avocado.
Add teriyaki sauce and Japanese mayo over the avocado on the roll.
Add some pickled ginger.
Add some wasabi.
