Uramaki with Cucumber and Avocado
The uramaki roll is made with 2 or 3 ingredients. Uramaki means they are rolled with the rice on the outside.
CUT THE VEGES
To make this roll; we are using avocado and cucumber.
To cut the cuke; first cut the cuke in half at the length of your nora sheet;
then just peel or use a vege peeler to remove the outer green of the cucumber. Then slice it in half; then alice into thin slices as shown in the photo.
To cut the avocado, first cut it in half; then half again.
Now you can remove the pit from the avocado, and remove the outer skin of the avocado. Avocados have a couple of
shapes and various sizes so how many slices you get depends on the avocado.

Add Rice To Nora
Now, you can prepare the nora and rice.
You need a half sheet of nora for this roll.
You will need about three quarter cup of cooked sushi seasoned rice for the half nora sheet.

We must flip the nora so the rice is on the outside.
The rice won`t stick to the mat because we added saran wrap to the bamboo mat.

Add your ingredients, then roll the nora using the bamboo mat.
Add Saran Wrap
Before we cut the roll we must put saran wrap over the roll, just enough to cover the roll. This helps to keep the roll intact while cutting it,and prevents your
hands from sticking to the rice as you hold the roll.

Now, your ready to cut your roll.

Before cutting the roll, you can cut off the uneven ends. Maki rolls are cut in half, then in half again. Typically you will have 6 - 9 pieces
per cut roll.
